Proportioning Valve on 62 C10
Would anyone be willing to share where and how you mounted the proportioning valve on your truck after brake upgrade?
I need to figure this out and get mine bolted down to finish the lines. Thanks - bob |

Mine has a mount that goes to the master cylinder and holds it in place.

Re: Proportioning Valve on 62 C10
I did this about 20 yr ago( on My 62) changed the whole front end over to an 83... brake booster in normal location and proportion valve.... I put down low in front of the 83 cross member. all parts came from the 83.. ( that may have been stock location don't remember ) I am having trouble resizing photo's if you want I can email them to you...Ed

I also did mine on the crossmember. 1960 chassis, 1975 front suspension, proportioning valve on the rear of the crossmember below the motor mount to keep the area around the booster free of clutter:

Thanks guys - I'll try to snap some pics of what we come up with - leaning towards Mark's approach at this point.
Thanks again - bob |
