67-72- dealer install a/c units

I have 2 dealer under dash units both have been dissasambled cleaned checked for leaks and put back together cleaned blower and all speeds work fine no parts missing nice vents asmps . Also have 2 compressor mounts 1 has beed blast and primed the other need to be cleaned both complete with all bolts and hardware asking $300.00 per underdash unit .. also have 2 v8 mount kit all parts plus shiping . I have 1 of these in my truck they work great better than factory i think

Did this use quirk compressor? These were great serums and did make nice cold air! Those compressors were heavy but bullet proof!

If he is not interested in splitting it up I have a couple of underdash units out of 67-72 trucks I have parted.

Is there any way to get some installation info/pics? Obviously these were designed for R12...how does one convert one of these to 134? Do you by chance know of an install thread on one of these systems? Thanks!

no install instructions is is a easy install also all you need to convert to 134 is a retro kit about $20.00 to change it over

I know I should jump on this, but Im not sure about the install. My truck never had A/C. Other than whats in this kit what else will I need to install it in my truck

The kick panel vent is tight , as far as what other parts you will need is a/c compressor - drier - condensor - and hoses the hoses can be made up at any good radiator / a/c shop the condensor you can use a after market style or the factory type that is the kind i used as far as the inside unit just mount it and hook a power and groung wire

By saying the vent is tight, does that mean it doesn't open?
