6.2 diesel to gas 84 Jimmy??
Has anybody converted a 84 diesel Jimmy to gas?? I'm thinking of starting on my old 84. The body is straight but the 6.2 is shot and the tranny has no reverse. I would like to go with a 99-06 5.3...

Re: 6.2 diesel to gas 84 Jimmy??
I've never converted a diesel to gas,but there's nothing to it. With what you want to do,it's pretty much all about converting to a computerized engine more than gas to diesel. Pretty much the same thing as converting from a non-computer carburated to LS
