Front suspension rebuild
So I pulled the front suspension off of a donor 80's truck for my 69 project and figure I might as well rebuild it all while the frame is bare. Is there a kit or do I just piece it together? What should I all get?
I plan on doing a static drop so ill get lower springs, shocks, and spindles. I also can grab the power steering, brake lines and whatever else I can get off of the donor truck if possible. I also have a 71-72 rear that I need to clean up. What would you suggest I do to it? Thanks Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Front suspension rebuild
Rock Auto is a good choice,as is Moog parts.
I assume you ordered 73-87 tie rods and plan on using ALL of the 1980 year replacement parts? That is a good plan if you are using 73-87 spindles, rotors and calipers.

Re: Front suspension rebuild
Yeah lolife, I looked up all the pieces for 85 model year.
Can I use the brake booster off of the 85 truck as well? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Front suspension rebuild
I'm sure you can with some mods to the firewall bracket and brake pedal push rod.
A 71-72 booster would be a "bolt-on".
