Wheels
I am looking at the 5 Gen Camaro Wheels and love them. The black steelies.
Can I fit them on a 5x5 bolt pattern? |

You would have to use thick adapters. New Camaros have a 5x120 bolt pattern.

(this is what we did to my truck because of a good deal we got on a set of 17" cragars) just add the proper studs and away you go. You could have the rims reversed to fix the backspacing issue. I've seen it done on a S-10 and they look so much better with a little more lip on the rim sticking out.

Will need alot of spacer, as new Camaros have real high offsets, like FWD cars. Should be about a 5.75" BS.

How to cut the centers out to change the offset. This guy didn't reverse the wheels, but that could be done if you needed even less backspacing than this.

I'm with theastronaut. I see these take offs on the local craigslist all the time for 4-500 bucks, brand new with tires, and would reverse them just like he said. they look good with the offset changed and would be amazing reversed.

It's not difficult to reverse the rims either. I just did a pair of 4" VW smoothies into reversed 5.5" Porsche 911 rims. Just set the backspacing, bolt the wheels up, and check for runout with a dial indicator. Was able to get these down to .045-.055". Then tack the centers in place and have someone who knows what they're doing weld them up.
