84 c20

Well guys picked up a c20 for $600 n its a pretty solid truck thats the reason I bought it...now my question is is it a big deal making it into a c10?..I want to make it a shortbed n I 5 lugger but wat are the cons in making it a c10? I heard the chasis is bigger but not really sure...might just lift it n buy some nice 8 lug wheels for it n mud tires if its too much to make it a c10..any info would be great guys thnx in advance

Re: 84 c20

C20s are like the red headed step child that likes to burn things. Parts are out there but difficult to find. Performance online has spindles for it if you wanted to lower it and retain the 8 lug wheels. Swapping over to 1/2 ton stuff as far as I know is just bolt in the parts.

For the most part. There are some minor differences in measurements. Someone posted a link to the gm specs on here (probably in the FAQ).

There are differences in the core support, suspension, and that's about all I have found so far

There are a couple people who converted to 1/2 here. I am bagging my C20.
