Ls swap air intake pictures
I'm working on gathering information and parts for an upcoming ls swap I'm doing on a '80 stepside. I'm having trouble deciding on what I want to do for the air intake. I cannot find a thread on it, if there is one, can you direct me to it? If not, I'm looking for pictures of what you did on your ls swap. Thank you

Re: Ls swap air intake pictures
Pic isn't 100% current, but the intake is still the same. Generic Silverado intake off of Ebay. Cut one side down, flip it over, and use the elbow/coupler in reverse order. Fits good and has room for the MAF without an issue. The same intake can be setup a few different ways depending on which body style and what you need to work around underhood.

They've got everything you need to piece something together, no matter where you need to run it to.

Re: Ls swap air intake pictures
Here is some pics of mine: I got the parts from www.intakehoses.com. and parts from www.hotrodlane.cc. Also called Street and performance. They had the MAF adapter hose and air filter.
Good luck
