a/c rebuild
Does anyone make an ac compressor rebuild kit ?? or is it even worth doing if there is one

What year is your truck? The A6 type compressor can be obtained from your local parts house for under $150. I just went through this a couple of weeks ago, but turns out my compressor was ok and I only needed to replace the clutch assembly. Mine is a 1980 K10.

A full A6 rebuild does take some special tools, even just replacing the front seal needs a special puller. Here's a pretty good how to on the front seal. I've seen a few full rebuilds online too, but you may only need the front seal. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...placement.html
