New task force owner

Hello all. I just bought a 1957 Chevy small window 3100. It came from a county government in Kansas where it spent is entire life. It started out OD green and was in the county utilities department before being donated to the sheriff's office for use as a dare vehicle. They painted it, put in a new front suspension with coils, rack and pinion, tilt column, and disc brakes. Then the money ran out. It's been parked for around 15 years. The truck came with a complete LT1 & 4L60E with wiring and all the extras from a 96 impala. It also came with a 86 Camaro 3.27 posi disc brake rear end. I've already lowered the rear and installed the rear end. Already installed new brake lines. The master is all that's left for braking. I have several Chevy muscle cars and a 56 Chevy 2dr Bel Air and 57 2dr Bel Air. But this is my very first truck. I will need some advice and some small parts, but I'm excited to get it on the road. Thanks in advance, Jason

Nice looking project, welcome!

Is the paint as nice as it looks in the photos? Looks like you could just spray the inside of the bed and it'd be done paint-wise.

The paint is very good over all. It needs some touch up, the inside of the bed painted and a tail gate painted. It never came with one.
