Original 1964-66 Tire Size
Sorry to start a thread on this. I know I have seen it somewhere on here but I have looked for hours and cant seem to find it.
I guess they came with the old bias ply tires but what would be the equivalent of that today? I have heard P235 70 15 and I have heard P235 75 15. Is one of these right. It will be going on a step side truck with steel wheels. Don't know the exact size of the rims. Thank you in advance for any help on this. |

Re: Original 1964-66 Tire Size
The original would have been a 7.75x15 or 8.15x15. A 205/75R15 or 215/70R15 are about the closest to original.

Re: Original 1964-66 Tire Size
I put 215/75R15 on mine. Look right to me, sidewall not too fat.
