Noise when turning left
I have 1984 Gmc High Sierra 4x4 with 305 auto. I noticed that when I turn the truck to the left. it has started making a kind of grunting noise. It does have power steering and I can sit and turn wheel fully to left and to the right when sitting running and it does not make this noise. I also noticed that it does this worse when I hit brake while turning it sometime sounding like metal on metal. I checked and greased front end and all looks tight and fine. The brakes are fine and just put brakes on it about 2 months ago and it has disk brakes front and drums rear. Any idea what I need to check?
