GPS speedometer

Ok I'm putting a 5.3 4l60e in my truck and need a speedometer. I was thinking of going with a GPS speedometer but does anyone know if a GPS interface would work with a factory 91 electric speedometer in my K5

If you use the GPS speedo from speed hut you hook nothing else up to it. I just bought a rubber fitting and covered the trans mount up. Nothing hooks to it other than power ground and lights.

I wasn't aware that anyone made a GPS interface that would run other gauges than the manufacturers specific gauges, but I could be wrong. Anyway, why not just hook your factory speedo up to the PCM and be done with it?

I was not aware I could run my factory speedometer off the PCM output. Anyone have a wiring diagram for it.

I used the Autometer GPS and an Autometer electric speedo. When I was researching tho...seems like Dakota, Cyberdyne, and Intellitronix make "universal" gps interfaces capable of outputting 2-3 different signal types for various speedo requirements.

One gps adavantage I like is that my speedo is correct regardless whether my truck has its 275/45-17 Nitto's on... or my taller 315/60-15 MT drag radials on.
