New 85 k5 Blazer
Just picked up a 85 K5 Blazer, I've got a couple questions though. I really like the earlier pre 76 full convertible tops. Money's kind of tight, and I don't have a donor vehicle to do a proper conversion, so I figured I'd just put a soft top on the back and a sun roof on the roof above the front seats. What will this do to the rigidity of my roof, or even my vehicle as a whole, and if it compromises it what can I do to counter that?
Thanks in advance, Chris. |

Re: New 85 k5 Blazer
Thanks goochy, but I've already read this article, that's why I mentioned I did not have a donor vehicle, and to be honest, I don't think I have the welding ability quite yet.
Thanks for the quick response though. |

Re: New 85 k5 Blazer
If you do a search about it , on that site . Or just search goochy . A guy offered to sell me a extra windshield frame off a 1975 . Said he had a few .
