Changing from 5 inch lift to 2 inch lift

Currently have a 4 - 6 inch lift including rancho suspension components and new springs on the front. Wanting to go to a 2 inch lift. Have NEVER tried to do anything like this before. and I can buy a 2 inch lift kit I'm sure. Q: Is this something that can be done safely one corner at a time with a couple of professional jacks, or is it something that needs a proper lift to take weight off all suspension at the same time?

You can do the suspension one corner at a time with good hand tools, a good jack, and good jack stands. I have done this before myself.
