What's my '71 250 L6 worth?

My '71 250 sixer has over 100k miles on it and I'm not sure if it's been rebuilt. Doesn't leak anything and is complete from carb to oil pan. Freshly rebuilt original Rochester carb, new fuel pump, and air filter.

So, what's it worth (the motor, not the truck)?

In my area you can buy from $100-500.

The real questions that determine the worth on a motor like that are as follows, especially since it was "rebuilt":

1) Is it a non-integrated head? (or integrated head)
2) Does it have power steering?
3) Does it have HEI? (or points?)
4) Does it have A/C?

Then from there you get into the condition of the carb, burning/leaking oil, blowby, compression, etc.

The more of those things you can say yes to the former, and where applicable, no to the latter, the more it will be worth.

For example, if you have a already rebuilt once, 100+k, integrated head motor with points ignition, no a/c, no power steering then you are looking at maybe $150 for it.

On the other hand, if you have a non-integrated head motor, converted to HEI, with a/c brackets and core compressor, and power steering brackets/pump, then you probably have a good $400 motor.

This is extremely helpful! I'm not sure what the difference between integrated and non-integrated are but it's no a/c, no ps but has HEI. Is that something that would typically go with the motor or should I save it for the 402 I'm replacing it with? It has a new cap and rotor and the distributor has been rebuilt as well.
