Rims for 64
Does anyone know what, if any newer truck rims fit on my 64? I understand 80's 6 lug fit, but it appears 90's and up center holes are too small. Is that true for all newer years? Can the center hole be bored out on these alum. Rims? There is so many of these new rims out there I,m just wondering if they can be made to work. Thanks, Roy

Yes, I've been through that thread. There are a lot of pictures, but little detail of the years or what the rims came off of. I did learn about the Toyota FJ rims and the 6 lug Corvette rims. It appears that the 80's 4wd GM rims will work. I'd like more information on converting the newer type of alum rims 88-up to fit. I saw one that said the center hole is too small and he used a 2" adapter to make them fit due to the wrong backspacing. Is it OK to bore out the center hole to fit? I would think that would not compromise the structure, but putting a 2" spacer I would think would cause interference with the fender? (at least on 63-66) Do the newer 4wd rims 88-up have a larger center hole than the 2wd GM rims?
