Rag joint removal from steering shaft
I have the steering column completely apart, down to just the inner shaft and the flex coupler. I have a new coupler coming tomorrow and want to prep and remove the old one tonight. Is there a trick to getting it off of the inner shaft? I don't want to damage the shaft. I didn't see a bolt or pin to remove but it is definitely crusty under there. Is it just a matter of heat and beat? Never removed a coupler from a shaft before (it is already disconnected from the steering box obviously). Thanks in advance.

Re: Rag joint removal from steering shaft
Thanks of the replies. I had seen the thread posted above but it does not show how to take the coupler off of the steering shaft end unless I am just missing it. New one should be here today so we shall see I guess. Thanks again.
