Did some work with the bed this weekend
I lowered the rear with some drop shackles from Djm. They did just enough for me. I also installed some wood in the bed. It was some free plywood. I bed lined the back of the wood and then stained and varnished the top. I will paint the strips and bolts when I paint the truck in the future. The truck will be white so I went with a darker stain. I was very pleased with the outcome.

That turned out awesome! I always wanted a stepside with a wood floor.

Re: Did some work with the bed this weekend
Thanks it just took some measuring and thought how I was going to put it in. There is just one seam. The plywood was going to be thrown away. My uncle is a maintenance supervisor and just saved the old wood. The wood got cut down to fit in his 4 runner. We sanded it down and then stained and varnished. Great thing was that the stain I already had and did not have to spend money on that either.
