New Gas tank problem.

The neck on the new tank is not round. It is a little oval. Do you think I will smell fumes?

Re: New Gas tank problem.

I personally believe that you won't. Provided, that you are able to properly fit the rubbler sleeve and adequately secure the clamps. Test it fit the sleeve first before you install.

I think sometimes the gas odor is from the gas cap. You may notice it with the window down.
