Can you use heavy duty and Mustang 2 in the same sentence? Unless there are parts they send with it that are not shown there discription just does not fit what I see.

Looks like the same 3/16" steel tubing all of the aftermarket ones are made out of. The only HD part is that they are not triple layer sheet metal like the OEM.
Have installed several over the years from different manufacturers, and all are a lot better than factory. Any of the aftermarket tubular arms are stronger than OEM, also. With considering the weight of these trucks, most suspension people will tell you that using a triangulated lower control arm over the OEM type with strut rod will perform better. The one thing to really study is getting the spring/shock combo right. Factory Mustang II parts will not support the FE very well. |
