66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
It all started with my dads old truck he had me overhaul for my high school ride. I was hooked on the body style after that. Owned a single cab that was chopped for a while. Bagged it rode it around then sold it. I seen a drawing in a magazine. It was a 64 avalanche. Loved it. I said I'm gona make one of those one of these days. I was 26 when I started. It's been three years now and still have a lot of work to do. I have a lot of picks of almost everything I've done to it. I know some stuff isn't up to par. But I did a lot of the build in my driveway. It started at my dads with his fork lift. I'll post more pics of the start but here's what I got so far. I haven't bolted the bed up right yet so yes the gap is tighter then that. I have other frenders that I need to cut and put on. But I wanted to primer so I could take a break. And not worry too much about the rust starting.

Re: 66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
I didn't take any pictures of changing the front frame to the subframe of a camero. Should have but. Oh well. But yea I changed it out to the camero front clip and rear differential. The rear is a disc brake limited slip 3:73. I also used the 305 HO and the 700r4 from the camero. Not looking for huge power. Just enough to get it down the road. The interior is still cut up. Still have a lot to do.
