tko 600
has anyone installed a tko 600 in a 1966 c10 with a low hump floor? I'm interested in getting someone's experience on floor clearance and shifter positioning. any help would be appreciated. I tried googling "tko 600" on this site but I just got threads that were 5 years old and no photos. thanks

Re: tko 600
I am debating getting one of these soon too... Having done some investigating for my install (high hump) I have found that the top of Tremec transmissions is a bit more bulky than a T-56, for example. I have heard that it is not too bad, but with a low hump you may need to do some gentle massaging with a BFH (Big Freaken' Hammer). You may also be interested to know that most people report excellent results using the front-shift position (not widely offered anymore), and others report good results using the mid-shift position. This is especially important information if a bench seat will be used... Hope some of this helps! :0)
