Lean bank 1 and 2

Started the truck, put it in gear, and it sounded like I was running out of gas, no power limped around the corner floored a few times and it cleared up!
My first thought it felt like water in the fuel, cleared up and the code said;

Lean on Bank 1 and Bank 2
P070??

Is this normal, no more problems, I cleared the codes, and all is working fine.

Re: Lean bank 1 and 2

that's weird. fuel pump acting funny? you got a gauge on it?

one of the first things after the initial fire was to change the filter. i figured there would be tons of debris from the build process and wanted to get that out of there asap.

Cleared up when you went wot?

Low fuel pressure; caused by either bad fpr, pump problem, restriction, low voltage to pump, or even bad pickup location.,

Re: Lean bank 1 and 2

YES, with WOT, it is starting to run rough when first start, but will clear in a minute or less. It has done it three times this AM after stopping and turning off the engine.
The entire fuel system is new including the fuel regulator, except the injectors and fuel rail, BUT they were cleaned and flow tested and there are no leaks.
I am going to put a gauge on the fuel rail and look for pressure before I start the next time

Hey man I'll take one! (Breathalyzer that is). Awesome idea, run with it, there's lots of us drunks that would buy one off of eBay. I'll take mine with the " bosses phone number blocker" option if available.

One of these?

Daddy likes free parts, and loves blue fittings. If you wanna toss one in a cheapy envelop or something, I'lll kick you the shipping cost.

Re: Lean bank 1 and 2

Check fuel pressure with key on, when you start the engine & when you drive it (if possible)
Also,
Read off your air mass meter's measured flow & compare it to what you find with google search.

Re: Lean bank 1 and 2

Update,
For the past week it has been running fine, could have been a bad load of fuel, it has not missed a beat since.
