So my weekend project is complete, anyone looking at doing a spray in I would highly recommend this stuff. Here are some before and after pics.

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
What did you do for the prep.... I had a guy spray in the stuff you buy at the auto parts. As soon as I hit it with a pressure washer, it all came up

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
Thanks! I used a 3m scuff pad on the whole thing. Then denatured alcohol right before I sprayed it.

I wish I knew the color code, I need some touch up paint. It was painted when I got it.

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
I have this kit waiting to spray in. What size compressor did you use to spray it?

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
I just have a 200$ harbor freight compressor, I shot it at about 60psi. I also put a water filter on the line, if you have any moisture I would recommend this.

Looks really good. I like that you didn't go over the lips around the box.

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
Thanks! Also I was able to take my tailgate off and spray that whole area up to where the quarters wrap around, so I had really nice lines to use.

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
the raptor liner is very durable, i generally spray it in around 51-55psi. good prep work is the key. if the surface is really bad, hit it with 80 grit instead of the 3m pad.
looks like you did a really nice job!

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
How much did you have to use to do the whole bed? I am looking at a kit on Amazon with the gun plus everything you need and it comes with 4 750 ml of base. I was wondering how far that would go. I am wanting to do the inside of a blazer but don't want to run out and have to order more. I would say it would take more than that bed, but not much more? Thanks

Tp tools has the best prices I've found. 4 bottles will do a short box.

Re: DIY Raptor Spray in bedliner
6 would do it, but it's just cheaper to buy 2 complete 4 bottle kits from tptools.com
then you have some extra for touch ups or to do your rockers.
