Another drop question

I know everybody ask this, but I don't see a clear answer. I wanna drop my 84 swb 3/5 I think. What is easiest, cheapest, best way to do it? Western chassis has a 3/5 coil and flip kit. It doesn't say it would need a notch so an I safe in assuming it doesn't? Will I need new shocks?
Or is there a better deal?

Re: Another drop question

No notch required specialty retail is a site vendor and has a good priced alternative to flip the rear. A set of shock extenders are a good idea but not required

Re: Another drop question

no need to do a c notch if you don't plan on putting anything really heavy in your bed jus get a flip kit for rear and I would do shocks that are for a 3/5 drop all around or shocks up front and shock extenders rear....if you don't could have a ruff ride or have problems wth shocks or a broken shock mount like I did on mine

Re: Another drop question

I have what is supposed to be a 4.5/6 kit from McGaughy's. It's more like a 4.5/5 - I think because of my leaf pack in back. Anyway, I don't have my c-notch installed yet but I do have shock extenders and new, stock replacement shocks in the rear. I don't bottom out on my frame in the rear unless I hit a VERY big bump.

I haven't hauled anything more than a couple of wheels and an exercise bike while helping a buddy move, so I can't talk about the hauling part yet.
