Aerotech 38gl. Blazer/Jimmy Fuel tank

Selling what I'm told is an Aero 37-38gl. Fuel tank. I filled it up with about ten gallons of fuel and let it sit for a few days to check for a leak and got nothing. No visible cracks or dents. It was mounted with four long rods, cut, that went up through the bed, but using a factory style strap setup I figure would be a better option. Anyway, could use a stripping and paint to make it pretty, but in good condition. $250.00

Bump 4 ya..

These are great long-range hauler tanks, also allows you to commute to your cheaper gas stations for fillups every couple weeks or so they are galvanized, so pick your paint/coatings carefully.

Re: Aerotech 38gl. Blazer/Jimmy Fuel tank

Not sure about the sender. I pulled this out of my parts truck, so I never used it. I could pull it out and make sure it's all there and the floats not bad if you'd like. Also checked USPS, UPS, and FedEx were all about $140.00, (she's pretty heavy duty) but Greyhound express is in both of our towns and can do it for $57.00. I'd just make it an even $250.00 shipped. Thanks!

Hi Can you please check the sender? Also, is there any rust in the tank?
Thanks,

Ah so that's what I have. Sure was a blessing driving my Blazer from Cali to Fl.
Bump. Looked a lot like your Blazer then. Heavy but I installed myself twice.
Pretty tough too. Scraped across a few big boulders in the Rubicon.

Re: Aerotech 38gl. Blazer/Jimmy Fuel tank

Hi Cohl,
Not sure if my msg got through but I'll take it pending if the float is all there and condition of rust in the tank.
Can you post a pic of the float?
thanks,
-otto

Also, my internet can be somewhat sketchy on weekends so I may not get back to you until the work week.

Re: Aerotech 38gl. Blazer/Jimmy Fuel tank

I'm sorry I didn't see that last one. I will be out of state working, for the next 9 days unfortunately. I will check the float and further inspect the inside of the tank ASAP. I'll post some pictures up for you if you still want it by then. Thanks!

Re: Aerotech 38gl. Blazer/Jimmy Fuel tank

Senders for these tanks are standard SAE 5 bolt flange - search VDO, Stewart Warner or Moeller fuel tank sending units ..if it helps any.
