When to torque spindle/LCA/UCA castle?

Hey all,

Just a basic question for the pros. When do you torque the castle nuts on the LCA/UCA? Do you wait until you have vehicle weight on the tires and get in there, or do you torque it unloaded? I know there are certain things like the LCA shafts you're supposed to torque WITH weight, but not sure on some of the others.

im not sure about torque specs but when i have the spring compressed enough to get the spindle onto the upper and lower balljoints i tight'n the castle nut until the threads are flush with the start of the threads on the ball joint and slide the cotter pin in and call it done... but others may know different

I think the torque specs for the 85 front end I'm using are 95 and then tighten till you have a position for the cotter pin, not to exceed 130. I just wasn't sure if not having the weight would cause the spring to artificially give me 95 ft. lbs and not have it sucked down as far as it should.
