sm420 trans question
my question is did they ever make a sm420 with a slip yoke? i have a short bed and want to keep my 1 pice drive-shaft .

Well I take that back actually, shortbeds had a slip yoke 1 piece shaft but the splines were on the driveshaft. The yoke slid onto the shaft and bolted to the tranny just like the 2 piece version.

I never seen a granny 4 speed that would accept the stock 3 speed drive shaft.
