new brake line question

I've searched this forum and can't find an answer so i'll start a thread.

My 66 C10 SWB needs new brake lines. I want to ditch the old single port system for a dual port. I don't need power or discs I just want to have a dual port master. Would it be easier/simpler to buy a dual master and some bulk brake line and fittings or would a pre-bent line kit (for non-power drums) for a 67 be a good start? I am unsure just how difficult these lines would be to fit on the 66 chassis. Any input would be helpful

I have always bent my own up from bulk line. You can do it with the sections of line from the parts store also. These guys make some nice stuff and have the stock line kits. All you would need is to ad one line from the master to the rear line that would have gone int the tee for the rear brakes. http://www.getdiscbrakes.com/tbs6401

you can use lines from the parts store and most likely will not have to flare anything if you do the math. if you use rolled line you either need to buy a line straightener or you will have sloppy looking lines.

I recently ran a single cupro line from the T to the driver rear wheel. That stuff is really really easy to bend by hand and make look good. Flaring is a tad harder because its so soft. They say the copper/nickle/iron mix in cupro basically means its a lifetime line (never rusts). I only have a short piece of it but the next time I do brake lines I will be doing it all in cupro. You can find it on eBay for cheap and at advance auto parts (not as cheap but may be local).
