Re: 47 - 53 Chevy /Gmc Mustang II Options Help

Probably a lot of discussion on here regarding this topic. My truck used a Fatman with bags and the Burb I am building has a Heidts with bags. Both do, or will do, what they are supposed to do well.

And there is Scott's, Revco, and many others.

Re: 47 - 53 Chevy /Gmc Mustang II Options Help

I am currently working on installing a Scott's ifs. Setting it up to also lay running boards. All their stuff is high quality and the best part is their tech help is only a call away. I have attached a few pictures of what you can expect from Scott's.

Re: 47 - 53 Chevy /Gmc Mustang II Options Help

We just completed a Scott's IFS coil-over without removing the front clip, it worked great BTW.

Now we need to lower the rear 3 or 4 inches, I cannot decide which way to go, all I know is do not want air bags and to raise the bed floor. This is a 3/4T. I do not mean to hijack the thread but any suggestions?

Re: 47 - 53 Chevy /Gmc Mustang II Options Help

Very easy our Scotts standard 4-bar with coil-overs and our weld in c-notch stock floor in bed will not be raised at all.Our 4-bar with coil-overs will ride alot nicer over factory leaf springs
