GMC parking light lense

I just received my new parking light lense, gaskets and rivets from Grumpys truck parts. I bought the ones with clear lense and chrome trim. Quality was great on one, chrome was foggy on the other. Good enough for me, my truck is a daily driver. Question? there are no instructions on how to install the new rivets. Anyone have experience installing the new lenses? I don't want to crack them.

Re: GMC parking light lense

Got my clear lenses from LMC or Brothers or the like (all the same). Chrome was good on both of them. Both are foggy now (little more than a year later). Go to the hardware store and get some rivets that fit into the recess. The one that come with them has larger heads on them and will crack the lense. If you get smaller heads that fit into the recessed holes, you have a better chance of not cracking them. I got the ones that you crimp with a punch-like tool, not the rivet gun which applies way too much pressure.....
