A little treat for the 'ol daily commute
Saw this pop up on my way to work. Looks to be an all original truck, probably pulled from a barn with the weather up here. No major rust. This is the second truck I've seen for sale in this shape in my neck of the woods this year.
The dash had an interesting sticker on it that says: "Re-powered with new GMC partial engine." I'm assuming that means a rebuilt engine was at some point put in? I didn't open the hood, but there was a straight six block sitting in the bed. What year is this? Anyway, I would love to bring this thing home! |

Re: A little treat for the 'ol daily commute
Pretty nice looking gmc, looks to be in decent shape. 54? There's one at a body shop near me that looks like the owner never came back to pay the bill. I wanna go ask about it but I want to have cash in hand when I do go

its a 47 or 48 GMC, you can see the fuel cap behind the cab on the box. but if its been untouched you can see it also has the solid side windows and swing down door handle.

Needs more front turn signals. Nice starting point for a project.

I drive a stone stock '59 Rambler everyday, it's a joy,it's a friggin joy. That truck would be AWESOME to drive every day!
