Found my next want
Saw this on another site. Not the best pic. Another guy is supposed to be getting some info on it. Supposed to have a cummins and five speed in it. Thought I would share. GM should have made this truck. Pretty cool I think.

Re: Found my next want
That bonus cab was a conversion, I've seen several examples on this site.

Re: Found my next want
Yeah I have seen plenty of the conversions just never in a ton dually configuration. I have wondered if anyone ever built one like that. All I ever saw were 1/2 ton C10's and K10's. I am curious to get more info on it to see if someone put it together or if in fact it was done by one of the conversion companies. I am leaning to pieced together myself. $30,000 is the price tag on this one from what I am told.

Re: Found my next want
Dually or single rear tires--- either would be cool!

Re: Found my next want
Well that's kinda what I thought. He must have adapters because the bolt pattern is different. Plus how does he lock in the hubs?

Re: Found my next want
Yeah me too.
I was wondering the same thing. The wheels look good on there but wouldn't be very pratical for a 4wd.

Re: Found my next want
If it has the Cummins engine and trans from the Dodge, it would make sense to use the dana 60 from the dodge. Vacuum operated hub engagement, and driver drop diff to match the transfer case.

Re: Found my next want
I agree with whoever said it would be sweeter if it were a long box. Damn cool rig though!

Re: Found my next want
I assume that if you had the extended cab that you might be able to use a crew cab from and cut it down to use. Seems maybe that it would be the best way to make that work unless there is another option. Don't know if a longer wheelbase cab & chassis could be used or not. I would definately like to learn more about it.
