If your truck is too big for the garage....

Then maybe you just paint it the same color as the house
saw this in the city today....

Maybe, I never tried to put in the garage, or paint the tires.

Cool. Could have masked off the tires though.

Re: If your truck is too big for the garage....

Great looking truck, but I agree...I'd mask the tires at what they cost to replace. And ditch the 62 emblem and apache 10 emblem!! I'm sure the correct emblem is a hard find.

I wonder what his plans are for the back half of the truck.

That's a neat truck! And don't judge the guy! He was trying to make white walled tires! FAIL! LOL!

Re: If your truck is too big for the garage....

He painted the vent windows....which I think actually looks really good on this truck. If I had gone with painted bumpers and grill, I'd definitely do it.

That also now makes it easy to get in and out of the second floor window.

I have a little toy at home (it's just like this one, but I found this picture on the Internet) that really reminds me of that.

You fella are really something. That is one awsome truck and all you can do is pick it apart. If mine looked 1/3 that great I would be in heaven.

Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most fools do.

I didn't pick it apart....I actually complimented it. I'm just saying I'd put the correct emblems on it and I would have taped the tires off to paint. I think its a sweet ride.

Re: If your truck is too big for the garage....

Painting the tires like that was standard practice at the budget shops like Spray Craft when I was a kid. Once out of the booth a couple of ladies painted the tires with Tire Black (no longer available). The finished result looked beautiful for a few weeks until the Tire Black wore off.

Interesting he can get that entire truck inboard of the sidewalk up against the building. A lot of places in San Francisco don't offer that much room.

I actually had a neighbor that painted his garage door then turned around and painted his S-10 pickup with the left over paint with the same brush. In that case it didn't camouflage the truck at all.
