Re: Low hump cab and T56 trans- will it clear?
Mine did but yes it is very very tight. I thought about replacing it with a high hump but don't know that it would gain me anything.
It is so dependent on motor mounts and their locations. My motor is as far back and as low as I could get it with my custom mounts.

thanks fellas- guess I'll put the motor/trans in first, then put the cab on without the hump and go from there.

Re: Low hump cab and T56 trans- will it clear?
I have a T56 and low hump 65 cab. It is tight but works well. I moved the shifter up to the inspection port and let the housing stick up thru the floor a little. Covered up by the shifter boot. The transmission housing has about 1/4 inch clearance with the cab floor. Should be a little more room if the shifter is in the normal rear location. TR

Re: Low hump cab and T56 trans- will it clear?
I am running the original bench seat. I moved the shifter location forward in the transmission so I could do that otherwise it comes up under the seat. See my build thread for pictures.
