Flarestat 105 Flasher info?

I pulled this today out of a mid sixties C30 truck. Hard to see but it has the 3 Chevrolet bowties on the red pull knob and the chrome bracket was attached to the left underside of the dash. I'm curious if this would have been factory or an optional item added later. Looks like the backside of the plastic terminal is where the actual flasher itself plugs in?

Probably not something I will use on my current truck, just thought it was a cool item.

Option on C10's. A lot of big trucks had them and some passenger cars used the same. They are avail on Ebay also.

if you can, get the other end of the harness, it has a specific plug that will plug into the junction of the column harness (turn signal harness), and will make life a whole lot easier when hooking it back up.

I got this much of the harness. I think this is headed for Ebay as I am installing a completely new American Autowire harness and really don't see a flasher going in this build. Thanks for all the info guys!

oh! that's a better pic, that is all you need, you just unplug your column harness, and that goes right in between.

Re: Flarestat 105 Flasher info?

Could have been factory ordered, dealer installed or PO installed. There are quite a few different knobs that will help narrow it down. The red knob with the 3 bowties is correct for the trucks. Heres a good pic of the correct knob on the flarestat 105
