Got some pretty good news today maybe
For anyone who may not have seen some of my post I'm working on my grandfathers 85 chevy c10 swb. He bought it wrecked with less than 5k miles on it. He and my dad always bought fixed and resold salvaged title vehicles. After he passed away the truck sat for 7 years. Until I went and got it. I have already bought a donor truck and it's in progress. My dad bought a 86 gmc swb brand new and I grew up riding In it for 9 years until he sold it. He drove by the people who bought it's house today and seen the truck out back with trash piled in the bed and grass growing up all around and over it. I'm going to go next week and see if they will sell it back to me. I don't know yet as to what kinda shape it's in but if I can get both square bodies I grew up in and make atleast one truck out of it I will be pretty satisfied.

Re: Got some pretty good news today maybe
Hopefully it all falls through I'm planning to go after work tomorrow and see if I can talk em out of it. If nothing else I'm going to try and buy the tailgate from them. We had the race car loaded up one day and on the way to the track the come along handle spun around somehow and put two holes in the tailgate. It always stood out to me because when we passed the current owners house going to our fish camp I always knew that was my dad's old truck because of the two holes. Of course when people asked he always told them they came from a jealous husband
