Yeah, I was scoping that one out myself...beautiful truck indeed.

It deserves to be in a museum.

Yes, it's a beaut. Easy fixes for most of the inexplicable goofs like wrong era hubcaps, red emblem paint, and incorrect backup lights. Unfortunately, it's one irreversible repaint away from stellar survivor status. Still an awesome truck!

it looks like a half repaint? Do you think it came with the front sway bar? And could it be a late 65 to have those back up lights? Id like to have it anyways.

So it's not a "Unrestored Original" as advertised!
Do these people not know what a "Original" vehicle actually is? Or just hopeing a uneducated buyer will jump on it?

NOT an "Un-restored original!" Just another one of the guys "sweet talker" lines....simple things like...The exhaust...not original...Mirrors...not original...quick repaint...but other then the majorly high price...that thing is a sweet truck....one full of options for sure.

Re: 1965 original lwb not mine

Definitely found a few issues with it not really being "Un-Restored", but hey, it's gorgeous and I would be tickled pink to have that truck!

It's pretty darn close to original, and a really great survivor considering the age. If my 65 looked that good, I'd cry tears of joy.

Grabbed every pic off of it as well for my further documentation of "original" trucks for future reference!

Re: 1965 original lwb not mine

Looks like it was repainted back in the 70's.
I worked in a body shop back then and Green was one of those colors
that were impossible to match unless you repainted the whole vehicle.

Fade had to do with the metallic in the paint and the sun. No clear coat
back in those days to protect the paint.

Sheesh. The words "unrestored" and "original" are so over-used and so mis-used. Fer cryin' out loud "original" vehicles have original paint! And if it's been repainted it ain't "unrestored" anymore.

In my book "survivors" have factory paint, too.
