Front grill 1966 install help needed
Does any one have the steps on installing the front grill?
Doing the mock up on front end all head light brackets installed to front bulk head. Now looks like I have to remove and attach to grill then install to bulk head. Photos would be great as I'm thinking I'm missing parts Got the truck in boxes when I bought the truck and was told all is there but know better now as have been having to find little parts on the board Frank |

There is only 6 bolts holding the grill in place....its not hard they should all line up if your using stock parts.

I think you are saying that you have only the grill brackets mounted and now you are attempting to mount the grill to the brackets- correct?
If that is the case, then yes you need to remove them and mount the grill to the brackets. Originally it was done with rivets, but machine screws and nuts will work too. Then attach the whole grill assembly to the bulkhead. |

Re: Front grill 1966 install help needed
When I did mine I used machine screws as well with a little permatex thread locker. That way if I disassemble again for any reason I am not trying to cut rivets and damaging the soft aluminum.
