Classic Car and Truck Insurance?
For those of you who are driving your trucks as daily drivers...What insurance are you using? Alot of insurance companies I've found so far either don't unsure something in our years or if they do...only allow so much mileage a year and no daily driving....So..anybody have suggestions? Or what company are you using?

I had mine on my Geico policy when I was driving it. I recently took it off, because it's not drivable at the moment. It was cheap too, I think it was $20-something a month for liability. But it wasn't my primary driver and I told them that I would drive it less than 5,000 miles a year. I'm sure it would have been more if I were to up the annual mileage, but there was no problem insuring it.

Neither Grundy or Hagerty would insure my driver, basically saying it was in a project state, come back when you have it restored. No thanks.
I went with State Farm. |

I have full coverage on mine through Geico, and I have no restrictions. It's registered as a daily driver, and is not restored.

We use Hagerty But you have to have another car registered and insured as your daily driver. They limit you to 6K miles a year. I pay $240 a year for my 64 which also includes builder insurance on the 61.

I have full coverage for my daily driver 65 c10 it costs me about $48 a month.

I'm thinking mine is about $45 a month. I have State Farm, have since I came back from the 'Nam. I have 3 motorcycles and three cars with them as well as 2 houses. I am fairly certain they wouldn't mess with me unless I had the other stuff insured.

For my 68 camaro I use JC Taylor 210.00 a year to insure it for 25,000. Farmers does the brokering for me. Plan on using them when the 66 stepper is done

I carry liability through Allstate. If you get full coverage make sure you get a stated value. If not they will give you a couple hundred and total it out next time you rent a fender.

Nationwide is dropping all classic and antique car coverage. Grundy will be the underwriter for them. I told them my 64 was close to a DD and designated the mileage I would be driving on average. Waiting to hear back from them, but the agent said there were no flags when the application was entered. Grundy is estimated at 202 (full coverage) a year compared to 600ish for just liability/uninsured motorist that I pay now.

My company I've not heard anything much about; but they were cheapest and most relaxed on mileage of many I compared: AMERICAN NATIONAL, under their "CHROME" package. $192/6 months for 2 vehicles, $12K and $32K stated values[...and they sometimes have appraisers they trust...], plus upgraded limits(to $1million).
