1954 parking brake
I have a 1954 5 window pickup 1st series. Didn't have the parking brake in it when i bought it. Does anyone know if it mounts to the transmission or to the left of the steering wheel? Thanks

Re: 1954 parking brake
3100 1/2 tons mount left side and use a push type brake pedal not a brake lever.

Re: 1954 parking brake
I think it was moved to the left of the column in '48.

Re: 1954 parking brake
'54 parking brake is a foot pedal near the driver's kick panel. Release knob mounted to the bottom of the dash above the pedal.

Re: 1954 parking brake
Try LMC Trucks or Classic Chevy Parts in OK City.
