Wiring Harness pin out

I had my harness done by Wait-For-Me Performance and they sent me the wrong wiring diagram. After a couple of calls for help they told me they wouldn't send the right one and to get one for that vehicle on my own. How do you go about getting an engine diagram with the pinout for a specific vehicle?

Re: Wiring Harness pin out

I can assist but need to know what year and model engine harness and PCM you are using. Pm me the info and your email. I made a spreadsheet that lists all the pins needed to build any gm ecu into a standalone config. Cars, trucks, ls1, ls2 and ls3. DBW, DBC, lt1 for obd1 and obd2. E38 and e40, etc.

Re: Wiring Harness pin out

Just for a really easy start, take a look at the pinouts over on Lt1swap.com , its at least a start to get things in the right place. We can probably fill in the blanks.

Re: Wiring Harness pin out

You can find pin outs and diagrams for all the most common donors with a little web searching. alldatadiy.com is only $25/yr to access info for one vehicle if you want an easier way to find good diagrams all in one place.

Re: Wiring Harness pin out

Just did the continuity test on all the pinouts fron LT1swaps and everything is fine. Now I just need to get wire from a harness to match everything right up to the dash.
Thanks for the help and I am still blown away with all the info and help I get from this site.

Re: Wiring Harness pin out

I did my harness myself in 3 days according to lt1swap.com, and didn't even miss a wire. Wouldn't have even attempted it without the knowledge I got from that site.
