49 Chevy find

49 Chevy CL find - http://york.craigslist.org/cto/4784089477.html
I'm interested in gone taking a look at this truck but have no idea to what it is the worth. I'm use to dealing with the square bodies. Can anyone give me their opinion?
Thanks

Re: 49 Chevy find

would be hard to place price, that cab looks good, does it have a vin plate on the door pillar? With that you could get a bonded title, that cost money, inspection bond price mine was 300! towing,, i bought a 5 window cab, along with two others, several fenders, two hoods, two chassis. paid 3000 cash but he told me the truck was titled. Me being young excited and mostly stupid jumed on it. truck wasnt titled, the gentlmen gave me 1000 back. I got a bonded title for the 5 window and sold everything else. total i spend was 700 and that was for shipping..... depending on if you could get a bonded title for it, i would offer, 1500 and go from there..... my opinion. good luck!

Re: 49 Chevy find

2500 would be a ok start. Truck looks solid and you know how north east cars/trucks are.
