Gauge cluster question
I've heard the earlier year 73-75 clusters wont work in late 70's to mid 80's but I was wondering if a mid 80's cluster would work in a 75? Picked up a real clean one with a tach that I'd like to use.

Re: Gauge cluster question
I don't know the exact years, just that the early squares had a mechanical oil gauge and amp gauge instead of volt gauge.

Re: Gauge cluster question
I think if you want to use the whole cluster as is, at a minimum, you would probably have to re-pin your cluster wiring harness. Even from an 89 to 91, I had to re-pin my connector to make the 91cluster work. It now works like a charm but did take a little time mapping and tracing everything.....
