Tire removal on lowered truck.
My truck is lowered 4 inches on the rear. To remove the spare if I get a flat I use two scissors jacks. I had a 5/8s half inch socket welded to the end of each jack. Got two half inch extensions. Put one jack under the rear end near the wheel. Raise the wheel up. Put the other one under the bumper, or the frame, and raise the body up so the wheel will clear the side of the bed. I cut a 4x4 in 12 inch lengths. 4 of them. Screw 2 of them together. You will have two sets

Re: Tire removal on lowered truck.
I never thought about this problem. I just did an axle flip on mine and have stock steelies so I might be OK. But what about the guy that has 10" rears and can't see the lugs at all cuz it's so low? Roadside assistance may not even be able to help. I guess they air up the bags and change the tire then?

Re: Tire removal on lowered truck.
I jack mine in front of tire on flat spot on frame. The axle drops out and tire can be worked out. Or 4x4 spread across rear frame. I don't trust scissor jacks. I have had them fold under load.

Re: Tire removal on lowered truck.
The jacks I used were from a Toyota, and a Honda. Not sure how strong they are. I use two so they might be OK.
