Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
Looking to see who has the 1964-66 door glass weather strip fuzzies that fit? Last set I had to take clips off and glue on, hated to do that but aftermarket clips would not clip back into the doors. I have another truck now and have spent a lot of money on it and hate to glue new ones on again. Have any of you guys had any luck with sourcing these window fuzzies that will clip in like there suppose to. Thanks

Re: Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
I just ordered a door felt kit from classic parts, and I sure hope they are a good product! I won't know for some time as I ordered the kit to tuck away for when I get there, which will be a while.
I am interested to hear what the experienced guys here have to say.

Re: Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
I got a set from Classic Parts and they don't fit right. The pass. side is horrible. The metal channel that the glass sits in hits it and pushes it up. Its all bent to hell and I really have to crank on the window handle to get it unstuck to roll it down.

Re: Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
I have some from.....LMC? Classic?
I found them no trouble to fit and they work ok, the main problem is that they sit below the line of the door? So the chrome trim is sitting below the window/ door level when they should be above and sitting neatly atop the metal edge of the window recess. Seems that the problem is that the clips are set in too high and or the depth of the trim itself is not deep enough ( not enough metal) to set the clips any lower. If someone could just make a quality, correctly fitting part they could make a killing? This used to be the problem with aftermarket rubbers in the Classic VW world then someone wised up and made quality rubber parts/windows/seals/etc and made £!s Try Steele rubber ( I haven't brought from there) but USA made and well worth the money Good luck H |

Re: Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
My last set came from Brothers and I got the entire set of felts and seals for the windows. By far the best I have used. Much closer to oem than the set from lmc in the 65.

Re: Door glass weather strip fuzzies? Which ones fit?
I tried to search old threads to see if I could find anything. I know these have been a issue on these trucks. I need to order another set for another truck and I don't want to go thru the same thing again.

I got mine from http://www.truckandcarshop.com/. They fit fine but after 4 years they are gray and missing some felt.
