super duty integrated brake controller in our trucks?

Does anyone know if the integrated brake controller from like a 2008 super duty can be used independent in out trucks or does it need to run through the super duty computers?

I think it'd look awesome mounted into the lower right side of our dash bezels via some skilled demmeling

I highly doubt it. A 2008 would use the CAN bus system and that in itself ties everything together (including the radio)

Edit:
Check this link out.

So I joined a ford forum...blasphemous. but they said they can be run independent? He said it is wired in to the truck so it can apply pressure based on brake line pressure too tho

Hmm, that link said the pressure was tied thru the master cylinder.
