Tire size for spare tire carrier
So how big a tire (15") will fit on the spare tire carrier on my 64 Short Step? I've been running 9.50s on it, but need to throw new shoes on her soon as it's painted (2 mo, I hope!) Haven't had a spare on it the last 5 yrs.

How much room is there between the face of the tread and the top face of the cutout, 1963c10? The spare mounted on mine in the pic was a 14" and never held air so I never really considered it a "spare". If nothing else I can pull one off the truck and try it while I have it mocked up.
