Brake Booster Fitment Question for 64 c10
Quick question, will a 1971 Dual Master Cylinder and Brake Booster from a Chevy Nova fit on my C10 pickup? I see that the 71 booster setup from a pickup will work but didnt know if the nova's would be different.
Thanks for the help |

Re: Brake Booster Fitment Question for 64 c10
You can make anything fit if you want to modify things and drill more holes in your firewall. It won't be a bolt on installation.
If you were to use my booster bracket, it bolts to the firewall using the factory bolt holes. This also ensures that the booster and master cylinder are solidly bolted to the pedal bracket and brake pedal under the dash as intended by GM engineers. There are many, many boosters that are compatible with my booster brackets. In addition to those listed in post #1 of the for sale thread, there is a more complete list in post #183 on page 8

Re: Brake Booster Fitment Question for 64 c10
The 1968 & newer Nova brake boosters have angled mounting brackets riveted to the rear shell. I don't think the angle of those brackets would work out very well for fitment into one of these trucks. And since they're riveted in place, removing them isn't an easy task.
