Interesting hood emblems
I posted this before and now I have seen another one this time the owner told me that these were special ordered from the factory, and the beds of these trucks came with steel instead of wood. So that would imply that these must have been 1966 trucks. And again this is a Texas truck.

Re: Interesting hood emblems
The emblem in the center of the hood looks like a 1959 Chevy car 348 hood emblem --> http://www.classicindustries.com/pro...ts/cm2028.html
I've never seen a 66 with a factory steel bed floor ... I always thought that started with the 67 body style ?? |

Re: Interesting hood emblems
i have a 62 short wide that has this same setup . its from texas and this appears to be a factory deal on mine. the holes drilled for this are crazy accurate, i have noticed a bunch of texas trucks have special equipment. could be a dealer add on and our trucks are from the same dealer, will try to post some pictures for you
